Community standards

These standards govern the comments section of this website. If a comment doesn’t follow these guidelines it probably won’t appear on the website. I reserve the right to not publish any comment for any reason but broadly speaking if you follow these guidelines I will aim to publish your comment promptly.

1. Treat other people with respect. It’s OK to disagree but please do so respectfully.
2. Do not post anything that is discriminatory in nature.
3. If you want to include a link to your own blog, use that blog’s domain name as the “nickname” field when leaving your comment. Don’t link to specific posts and don’t include any links in the comment itself.

There is one final rule which may sound unusual. If you want to leave a comment under your full name or your blog’s domain name please send me an email at clark@quietfaithloudopinions.com every time you leave a comment telling me that you are leaving a comment. This is because I have no way to tell who is leaving comments and can’t stop people from impersonating each other. If you are otherwise worried about being impersonated and you want to “reserve” a username please send me an email too.
